Research interests
My research focuses on the investigation of the syntax-semantics interface, especially on syntactic and semantic properties of complex expressions as well as on deep lexical decomposition. In particular, my work is concerned with the following issues:
Syntax and semantics of complex predicates, especially light verb constructions in German and Persian & the modification of light verb constructions Degree expressions and their interaction with lexical aspect Aspectual composition (contrastive analysis Germanic vs Slavic languages) Case marking asymmetries (Germanic and Iranian languages)
Languages I worked on: German, Polish, Upper Silesian Polish, Bulgarian, Russian, French, Persian
