Research interests
I am a postdoc at the Institute of Linguistics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. Currently, I am primarily working on complex predicates (light verb constructions), periphrastic aspect constructions (especially prospective aspect in the West Germanic languages), and the morphosyntax of Bantu languages (particularly the Central Kenyan language Gikuyu). Currently, I am leading the second phase of the DFG-funded project 'Funktionsverbgefüge: Familien und Komposition' (Light verb constructions: Families and composition).I am also one of the series editors of the new book series 'Studies in Role and Reference Grammar' published at Mouton.
